Ashfold is a leading independent day, weekly and flexi boarding school for boys and girls aged 3 to 13 years

Set in thirty acres of beautiful grounds in rural Buckinghamshire, the school is a busy and vibrant place with a reputation as a friendly, family-orientated school. Founded in 1927, Ashfold is a country prep school offering the very best in both traditional and innovative teaching. The school's extensive facilities include a purpose-built pre-prep building, sports hall, full-sized astro turf and heated outdoor pool. Plans for future investment in facilities include a new, purpose-built Art & Design Centre due to open in January 2016.

Most children join the school in the pre-prep department and move on to top independent senior schools at 13+. Ashfold has a strong academic record with more than half the sixth form achieving scholarships or awards to their chosen schools in 2014-15. The school offers an excellent all-round education with outstanding opportunities for sport, art, music and drama as well as a wide-ranging programme of extra-curricular activities.

Pastoral care is rated ‘excellent' by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) which noted that ‘the strength of the natural relationships and warm atmosphere created by the head, deputy and staff mean that pupils thrive at Ashfold.'
